Information and Resources

The fourth aim of the Partnership is ‘to raise awareness and improve understanding of the Moray Firth, its resources, strengths, opportunities and vulnerabilities by sharing information’.

There are a number of communication methods the Partnership uses to deliver this aim:

The Web Site
The Partnership endeavours to maintain and enhance the website as a gateway to resources relating to the Moray Firth, ensuring it remains up to date and relevant in content.

The web site provides information on the work of the Partnership, it includes community pages, an education ‘infozone’ and links to a host of coastal related issues.

Members Updates
We produce a quarterly members update of activity which is sent to all members and funders and placed on our website.

Annual Conference
We are committed to running the annual conference in order to disseminate information about the Firth and the work of the Partnership. The conference also provides opportunities for members and others to network and become involved in stewardship of the Moray Firth.

In addition to this we ensure that appropriate awareness-raising and promotion of stewardship are part of all project activities. We aim to improve our communication about the Partnership, our role and services, amongst stakeholders and specifically business interests. We will do this through increased networking through the Board and Strategic Group.

Publications and Resources
We have produced a number of publications and resources over the last 10 years. Much of this literature is available electronically and hard copies can be requested by contacting the Partnership staff.
